Home Care Services: Supporting Independence

Centers for Independence is committed to helping people of all ages—children to seniors—maintain their independence.

Our community service providers support individuals and families throughout Wisconsin with a wide range of services designed to promote independence, health and well-being. Services include daily living skills training, medication education and management, physical health and wellness support, problem-solving and decision-making skills development, parenting education, and individualized family training and support.

We proudly serve people of varying abilities, strengths, and backgrounds in Milwaukee County.

All of our community service providers are thoroughly screened and professionally trained to deliver high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Notice: Effective Oct. 31, 2026, we are closing our in-home Home Care program due to sustainability concerns. We are actively helping transition individuals and their preferred caregivers to qualified providers. The relationship between clients and caregivers is important and we are focused on ensuring a smooth transition for both parties.
