Meagan Langfield

Hi! My name is Meagan and I’m happy to join you and your child on your mental health journey. I have been a child and family therapist for the past nine years. I grew my passion for working with young children when I started my internship at Penfield Children’s Center. Over the years I’ve learned the importance of collaborating with parents and caregivers for sustained change at home. I specialize in trauma and attachment work as well as understanding the complexities that come with developmental delays and neurodivergence.
My approach is play-based while also being in tune with attachment theory, family systems, developmental, and trauma-informed. I often utilize sessions with parents/caregivers and their children to support the family dynamic and continue practice at home as well as parent-only sessions to provide support to the adults with parenting concerns.
I received my Master’s Degree from Marquette University with a specialization in child and adolescent counseling. I am endorsed as an infant and early childhood mental health clinical provider through Wisconsin Alliance of Infant Mental Health (WI-AIMH), as well as a reflective supervision practitioner. I have trained many counselors in training as well as students from Marquette University.
