CFI releases annual agency, D&I impact reports
MILWAUKEE (April 11, 2024) – Each year, Centers for Independence takes a moment to reflect on accomplishments and to look forward with hope. The work highlighted in the CFI Impact Report and the Diversity and Inclusion Impact Report would not be possible without the dedicated staff of CFI, our committed sponsors, and our generous and stalwart donors.
Some of the 2023 highlights include:
- CFI welcomes Leif Elsmo as new President and CEO.
- Crisis Resource Centers expand into Waukesha County.
- CFI named Local Foods for Schools grant recipient.
- Behavioral Health program receives $4M grant from SAMSHA.
- Milwaukee County allocates $2M to Concordia 27 restoration project, which includes a new production kitchen for CFI.
- CFI receives support from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.
