Bay View in Bloom: A Night of Celebration and Community
CFI’s Bay View Campus Open House was a joyful celebration of renewal, creativity and community spirit. The event offered guests a firsthand look at the thoughtfully designed space dedicated to helping neurodiverse and medically complex adults build independence at home, at work and in the community.
Guests explored the revitalized facility, which reopened last February following a temporary closure during the pandemic. The updated campus reflects the strengths, goals and potential of the individuals we serve.
The evening’s theme, See What’s Blooming in Bay View, was brought to life through interactive activities and behind-the-scenes tours. Guests explored dedicated program areas including:
- Health and wellness
- Music and art therapies
- Independent living skills training
- Horticulture programming
- Adaptive bathing services
One of the evening’s highlights was a collaborative art project that invited attendees to leave their mark – literally. Guests added colorful thumbprints to a shared canvas alongside contributions from clients and members of the organization’s board of directors. Once completed, the artwork will be proudly displayed at the facility as a symbol of connection and shared purpose.
The reopening of the Bay View Campus reflects our ongoing commitment to creating inclusive, supportive environments that empower individuals to thrive. As we continue to grow and strengthen our programs, we remain dedicated to building healthier, more connected communities in Bay View and beyond.
