CFI releases 2023 Annual Impact Report
By Isaiah Brotzman, Social Media and Digital Specialist intern
Each year, Centers for Independence takes a moment to reflect on accomplishments and to look forward with hope. The work highlighted in the CFI Impact Report would not be possible without the dedicated staff of CFI, our committed sponsors, and our generous and stalwart donors.
Concordia 27 Kitchen featured on WISN
CFI’s Vice President of Employment and Community Services Heidi Chada showed the bustling Concordia 27 Kitchen to reporter Greg Adams – surrounded by kitchen staff creating some of the 12,000 meals the location produces per day, She explained that the number of meals per day is expected to grow to 18,000 by August.
Adams was shown the Concordia 27 Kitchen’s vibrant hydroponic garden, providing fresh vegetables for use in the kitchen’s meals. The hydroponic farm was planted in collaboration with CFI’s Nutrition Wellness and educational programs.
